Co-founder Garrett Camp closed StumbleUpon on 30 June 2018 and migrated every account to Mix.

StumbleUpon offered one button that threw you at a random interesting webpage, and roughly 40 million people pressed it over sixteen years. Co-founder Garrett Camp announced the shutdown on Medium and gave users until 30 June 2018 to move their favorites to Mix, a curation platform built at his own startup studio. The web's best argument for aimless browsing was retired in favor of something that wanted you to make collections.
