Amazon sold through its remaining Fire Phone stock and confirmed it had no plans to replenish it.

Amazon's answer to the iPhone arrived in 2014 with four face-tracking cameras and a 3D interface nobody had asked for. Reviews were poor, sales were worse, and in October of its first year Amazon wrote down $170 million of unsold inventory; by the summer of 2015 it was clearing the phone at $60 with a year of Prime attached. In September 2015 the 32GB and 64GB models simply ran out, and a spokeswoman confirmed there were no plans to build more.
