Coca-Cola ended production roughly six months after launch, saying only that it was phasing Spiced out to introduce a new flavor in 2025.
Coca-Cola launched Spiced in February 2024 with a splashy ad campaign and promoted it as a permanent addition to the lineup, built on research that raspberry had been selected more than 5 million times on its Freestyle machines in 2022. The drink was Coke with raspberry and spiced notes and was not actually spicy, which did little for either awareness or word of mouth. In September 2024 Coca-Cola confirmed it was ending production six months in, to make room for a new flavor in 2025. That flavor was Orange Cream, which reached stores in February 2025.
