It never took more than 3% of any of its eight test markets and Coca-Cola declared it out of production in 1995 rather than expand it nationally.

Coca-Cola marketing chief Sergio Zyman built a soda for Generation X on the theory that the demographic was too cynical for advertising, so the advertising should be cynical too. Cans came in drab grey, one mascot was drawn with Charles Manson's facial features, and the slogan was "Things are going to be OK." It reached eight test markets in spring 1994, never took 3% of any of them, and sold about a million cases before Coca-Cola quit in 1995.
