Odwalla
- Cause of death
- Killed by cost
- Made by
- The Coca-Cola Company
Coca-Cola shut the brand along with the chilled direct-store-delivery network it required, a fleet of roughly 230 refrigerated trucks.
Odwalla was founded in 1980 by jazz musicians and sold to Coca-Cola in 2001, which then spent nearly two decades trying to make fresh juice fit a soda company's logistics. It never did. Odwalla moved on its own fleet of about 230 refrigerated trucks, and after July 31, 2020 Coca-Cola shut down the brand and the fleet together. Mexico's Grupo Jumex bought the name and brought Odwalla back in 2025.
